And we (Pittsburgh) won 5-4. Philly fans get a bad rap, having been to baseball AND hockey games, the baseball fans are nothing but great, even to fans of the opposition who don't act like jackasses. The guys behind me were trading "major league" jabs with us all night. Bout' the rowdiest it got was when the Phillies CF struck out for the 3rd time in the game and got a resounding "Go back to Reading" (AAA ball)

Just curious, but I've been reading about new security procedures at ballparks. How much did they affect the lineup to get into the park?

I'm not sure what "new procedure" you're referencing, it was the same as it was last year. Had to walk through a metal detector and that was it. Barely broke stride.

I was referring to an article I saw in the Toronto Star about how the Jays games are now conducting thorough screening of fans (metal detectors, wands, etc) that have been mandated by Major League Baseball for all games. It might be that the stadium you attended has already been doing that level of screening even before the mandate.
