So last night, I'm doing the usual stuff on my computer (playing World of WarCraft, etc), when all of a sudden a couple of keyboard keys stop responding. So, I end up having to re-start, which, when I did, I came across one of those dreaded hard drive errors. Here's me, freaking out real bad, that I'd have to get a replacement hard drive, although I have had component cables come loose in the past, so I open up the case, check that the hard drive cable is in all the way, do a little finaggling which, after, system booted up normally. Just to be safe, however, I ran a disk scan, which I've attached the results below
This HP Pavilion p7-1234 is around 6-7 years old, so I believe the hard drive is also that old.
Long story short: Do I need to consider buying a replacement drive, soon? Am I being a little bit paranoid?
