So had a bit of a laugh this morning. Coworker overheard a discussion at a competitor (named after an Aussie patriot, and used to have his face as the logo).
Customer bought a camera for Christmas. Opened the box yesterday to find all the bits, charger, cables, manual. But no camera.
Fast forward an hour, that same customer comes in to see me. Competitor had replaced/upgraded camera for her, but she wanted a new lens as well. Turns out the bag they sold her was too small, and the memory card too slow... So back she went again to return those.
Ended up selling the customer a new lens, bag, memory card and protective filters for both her lenses, probably making more money than had we sold her the camera...
