There's no comparison in this scenario. Vader is RARELY on a start destroyer - he spent most of his time on a base, in a transport, or on the battle cruiser (the huge one that crashed into the Death Star in Return of the Jedi).

On a side note: I've been watching Stargate Atlantis and it reminded me of how they "took care' of about half a dozen Wraith hive ships. (They beamed nukes into their engine rooms - much to the Asgard's displeasure).
