I can get lost in stores I've frequented for years, usually due to shuffling of planograms/failure to change signs (item X used to be in aisle 3, they moved it to another aisle but never changed the signage...or moved it to a completely random illogical location with no signage whatsoever)
Our section planograms are more or less constantly evolving/mutating, and the first major change post-grand-opening was a royal cluster...the concept made perfect sense, but the plano itself was done by one of the higher-ups whose thought process regarding such is at right-angles to everyone else's. Took me a week to figure out where everything is, and I'm the quickest study on the team by far. We don't have aisle signage--just signs highlighting a particular brand which can move when the brand does--which is nice.
