    We are now pretty much back to accepting cash at all registers (still not giving cashbacks, though ... go figure).

    A couple of young guys come through my line with some snack foods. The one guy hands me a $10 bill and says "Keep the change."

    Me (figuring it'll be about a quarter or so): "Thanks!"

    I ring through his stuff and hand him his receipt and then ... "Hey! You've got $4 and change!"

    Customer: *waves hand and grins as they walk away* "Nah, keep the change!"

    Me: "THANK YOUUUUUUU!"

    Coworkers are looking at me funny ...
    Customer service: More efficient than a Dementor's kiss
