And, if they still can attract a girlfriend even with all the problems they're "working on" and said GF continues to stick with them as they continue to do nothing about said problems, let alone let them get worse, well, then they don't NEED fixing in their own minds.
Too many women think their presence in a poor relationship will give the guy incentive to improve, whereas the guy thinks their presence if validation that they're fine the way they are.
