From the sound of it, it could also be used to cure a fresh infection in adults. The trouble is figuring out when such an infection has occurred, quickly enough to make a difference.

It's mostly putting that up because this only makes two cases that have been cured. Until they get repetition, they can't claim it's a cure.

I just read something to the effect that they are now questioning the diagnosis. They're not sure the child really was HIV+.

Two positive blood tests, a day and a half after birth - and they re-did the tests using some of the original samples later, when the question arose. I'd say that's conclusive enough.
