I had one like that the other day at the bookstore. Never once paused her conversation, directed unpleasant looks towards me, etc.
We have a very strict rule not to answer the phone if you are on register. I did mention to my coworker who saw it all that I really thought about answering the phone when I was checking her out. As coworker who saw it a said, "what could she do, complain you were on the phone 1/2 the time when she was on it the whole time and never said a word to you?" *sigh*
