So, according to this lady, she should be on this business account.

Well, of course, she isn't. But she swears up and down she should be.

SC: But I want statements on the account.
Me: Due to privacy reasons, I cannot give you statements, as you are not on the account.
SC: But I'm supposed to be on the account! I came to your branch and got added.
Me: Do you know who you spoke with?
SC: No, it was a girl, and I spoke to a gentleman as well.
Me: I'm sorry, I cannot give you anything without some type of proof you should be on the account.
SC: Well, I'm going to talk to your corporate number and get this fixed. I just don't understand why YOU can't give me this information!
Me: Because I would lose my job and possibly be escorted out of here in handcuffs for breaching security. No thank you.
SC: Well, you were NO help. I hope you lose your job over this!
Me: (Thinking: Well, that would get rid of the stress in my life.)

    And she storms out.

It was nice of her to tell me she was going to get me fired at least.

My most common business account problem is customers who insist I should open up a business account in the name of the business because they "say" they own the business.

"I'm sorry ma'am. I cannot give you the right to cash checks made payable to this business name without something that shows that you have a right to sign for that business name."

If you owned a business, would you want just anyone able to open up an account using your business's name? On their say-so alone? Think, people!
