some lovely drama unfolded today as soon as I got in to work. I'm heading in and a coworker(management maybe?) was having a bit of a "talk" with a couple who may be homeless but are obviously drunk. I didn't hear much but I just breezed by to clock in.
Later I'm doing my cashier thing when I hear someone screaming "get out of there NOW!! this is bulls***!!" I look over after my customer is finished and see the drunk woman of the couple at the door standing between the restroom doors screaming at the men's room doors. A gentleman leaves and she walks into the men's room after, I guess, her man. All I could say was "did she just go in the men's room?" 2 managers went in there. I didn't know whether laughing myself silly was appropriate so I kept my mouth shut.
I have had this couple come into my line and they were reeking of alcohol. The smell managed to kick a couple people out of my line and make them head to lines with loooong waits. Oy.
