I think I'll turn this one into a pop quiz and see who gets it first.
I was taking a customer to the networking accessories, he was trying to figure out how to get internet to a computer. He had talked to Comcast who would come out and network his house wirelessly, and wanted to get a competing offer from us. During the course of the conversation we got into a technology called powerline ethernet, a powerful new way to network that uses a transformer box to transmit information along the power cables of a house. Expensive though. During a demonstration, I noticed that a $170 set was ripped open, however, the two transformer boxes were still inside.
So, why don't you tell me what was stolen from the box?
Was it
A) The instruction manual
B) The installation cd
C) The ethernet cable
D) Both A and B
E) Both B and C
F) All of the above
G) None of the above
EDIT: All entries are in, so I'll tell the answer here so people don't have to read each reply.
Apparently the burning need for C: Ethernet Cable was so great that they broke into it, took it, and left everything else perfectly alone despite being able to get to everything relatively easily.
