Had a retired fellow who demanded that I stop waiting on the lady I was helping. He got extremely angry. He had no respect for her or myself.
When I finished helping her (which didn't take long at all) I cheerfully thanked him for waiting and offered to help him. but he only said he wanted his money back and wanted a manager.
I'm not sure if he was getting dementia, but he was meen and had entitlement issues. My corporation takes customer feedback seriously and when customers word vs. a clerks word, they usually side with the customer.
I did talk with the manager he complained to and he said it was all ok, he could tell the customer had problems... but I do not like to have my job security, mortgage and bills rest upon a customer who just happens to come into the store with mental issues.
