  • Heaven got a new angel last night >_>

After having been in and out of the hospital four times or more since October, my mom passed away last night. She was 78 years old.

May she rest in peace. v_v

I'm so sorry, it looks like 2019 is turning out to be as s@$%y as 2018 was.

I was going to message you this weekend to find out how she was doing. Maybe she'll meet up with mum and they'll have some fun together, pranking the living.

                      Oh, no. Just no.

From bitter experience, I know that grief is a sneaky bastard that loves to screw with us. You can be going about your day, not thinking of anything much, and then a wave of it overwhelms you.

My advice to all is, don't be surprised by anything you feel. Also, don't feel guilty if you find yourself laughing at something funny, or enjoying your day. You're going to run the gamut of emotions. And this is natural.

There are as many ways to grieve as there are people. I've had to deal with dumbasses who think that they have the magic words to stop the grief process. There is no such magic formula. You may find yourself having to avoid certain people who just don't get it, and that's fine. Take care of yourself.

We're here if you need us.
