  • How Canadians have fun

Now THIS is a sport I can get interested in-Chainsaw Chucking!

This is an actual contest that takes place at the Sourdough Rendezvous festival in Whitehorse every year. Basically, it's just a few brave SOBs throwing running chainsaws.

Yeah, we're crazy. But DAMN is it fun to watch!
Burn the land and boil the sea, you can't take the sky from me!

I like big bots and I cannot lie.

Ah yes. I believe this event takes place in the vicinity of Gravekeeper's incessant hat-ordering customers.

If you have to ask, it's probably better posted at www.fratching.com

Yeah, some of these guys definitely aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. But, hey, it's fun to watch and, at the worst, it puts a bit of chlorine in the gene pool.

This shot is actually right in front of the local gaming store in Whitehorse. The first time I saw this, I was coming out of it. Scared the hell out me when I heard people running around with chainsaws!
