ok like you know my scs are few and far between and i so rarely have something to post because they just dont stick in my mind
but boy do i have two funny storys for you.
You Discriminate Against The Techless!!!!!
Ok this is a selfhelp line, the one where i have to say "zip or postal code,please"
the people who call this line are well.... interest.... to say the least....
Me- (standard opening spiel)
SC- (reads off her zip code,, name and phone number in one breath)
Me- *types as quickly as her little fingers will travel* and what was that phone number again? (hey i typed on two pages in 10 seconds so i couldnt do three so shot me.)
SC- SIGH XXX-XXX-XX-XX
Me- Thank you. And are you calling about our free information CD?
SC- yeah
Me- Great, I'll be more than happy to help with that today. And whats the adress you would like me to send it to.
SC- XXXX 34th st. Like the movie. Miracle of 34th st. 3-4.
Me- *Ok, what am I 5???* Ok....
SC- Yeah we got a lot of problems with the Chinese here and - (long winded raciest rant that makes me question humanity*
Me- Oh kay.... and that was *bitchtown*
SC- Yeah. Can you hurry up, I'm running out of time.
Me- *I didn't make you call now did I?* Ok and can I have your email address (really said more but shortened it for your sanity)
SC- No, i dont ahve one set up at the time.
Me- Ok, we just ask to send out brouchure and cd information as well as links to our online resource center which has great information and tolls to help right away. Of we can always email them to any address you prefer.
SC- Sorry, but if you include the information with the brochure I'll enter it into my laptop.
Me- *In word groan- I hear this fifty times a day*I'm sorry, but unfortantly we only send the links via email. but while I'm processing this I'll go-
SC- Well thats really sucky.
Me- *you?* I'm sorry?
SC- So your saying that people without computers don't deserve help??
Me- *Oh god* No ma'am just that we only-
SC- YOU ALL SUCK!!!
Me- Well ma'am we can still send you out the information about our program its we cant send you the links because you wont be able to access our PRIVATE website with out email clearence so if you like we can-

Ok scene starts out with a non card carrying SC calls up wanting to send in a check. I tell we except checks over the phone .OMG AWESOME. this is where her smarts goes away
she lives in a state whos name i cant spell off the top of my head . After two attempts to spell and it no looking right (its in the banks name)i give up and ask her to spell it.
her state does not start D OR V remember that
SC- You want me to spell it? Ok its D-E-V-
Me- no ma'am can you spell *state*
SC- *state*? OK. V-I-L-
Me- No ma'am *state*
SC- Oh. D-A-N-
Me- No, *state*
SC- V-I-L-
Me- No ma'am just your state please.

Me- *snaps* Ma'am I may not be able to spell *state* but can tell you it doesn't start with D
