I HATE cheesy "team meetings"

Or they view them as pep rallys, trying to get the employees all enthused over selling stuff, that it helps morale in some way.

It doesn't, of course. Most of us remember our high school pep rallies and shudder; why would we want to live through that again?!

I remember one job I worked had some big team-building exercise day. They brought in these overly happy, chirpy camp counselor types (like in Addams Family Values), so hyper they made The Great Cornholio look like a sleeping three-toed sloth. They talked to us like were were little children and had us do all sorts of stupid stunts. Ugh. Needless to say, I didn't last too long at that job.
