  • Goodbye Lake Woebegone

    For those here in the US this might have some meaning. At least I got to listen to the whole show via on-line streaming

    A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor as we knew it for the last 42 years has rode off into the sunset. Tonight was the last show with Garrison as it will be re-born in October with a new host and a new more-toward music with less comedy format and no more News from Lake Woebegone.

      That show was proof that the old time radio format can still work if done right. I'm sad that they are changing it up for the new version. I'll give it a try, but I'm going to miss the comedy and new.
