Um ... guilty.

I'm horrible about updating my address when I move. Thank heaven for the internet! Although I really can't imagine giving the old address when I call for a pizza ...

(Keeping in mind that I put, on the Christmas card list here, the postal code of a house I haven't lived at in over two decades ... )

I'm not mean.
But if they aren't...

How am I going to make s'mores?

They will likely burn out fast anyway, you will quickly lose one leg of the fire triangle anyway, and hurtling through the air...

I'll stop now.

Ya know it seems like every time I've ordered something I have to make sure the address was right. What would have happened if they were now outside of the delivery radius?
The driver most likely, unless the new address was WAAAYYYY far away or way out of the area, would still have to deliver it.

Good for you that the customer tipped you well

I had one delivery like that about 6 months ago. For some reason the order taker forgot to verify the adderess. the "old address" was way south. I knocked on the door. Nope did not order pizza. called the customer and they had moved way north over a year ago. I still had to deliver it but I at least got credit for an extra run (cause I demanded it).

HMMMMM flaming marshmellows ***** grabs one, blows out fire and grabs chocolate ******* YUUMMMMMMM s'mores AAAAAAAAAAA

But if the new address was in the "territory" of a store other than the one ordered from (and to my understanding, a store delivering in another store's "territory" is in breach of its contract with corporate), I thought they'd be barred from making the delivery (although it should be OK for a customer from outside the "territory" to order for pick-up).

I can just imagine a customer failing to update their address when they move, and ordering from a chain with some method (either internet ordering or a central number) that automatically transfers the order to the store in whose "territory" they live - and they've moved to another city.

That could easily happen with so many people having cell phones these days. One of my friends moved to a whole other area code, but kept the same cell phone number with the old area code.

I was so mad and frustrated as to how people could be so stupid,.
I have to admit I was guilty of that. The pizza place that I ordered from had my old address in their computer. I didn't remember to tell them that I had a new address.

I'm not mean. Here's some whiskey to put the flaming marshmallows out with.
Edited for my enjoyment.
