This week I have got totally to grips with my work and not been carded once, you remember how I said it was impossible?
Well, silly me, the only reason I was finding it impossible was that I was trying to provide customer service.
But this week, I haven't been providing customer service.
What that means is, I have read the script WORDPERFECTLY. So what if doing that stops the normal flow of coversation and means that I don't connect with my customer?
So what if I leave my customer feeling that I didn't answer all their questions? YAY I was within call times.
And I mastered "showing no emotion"
customer "and it's really been a problem for some time"
me - never mind *next question* *does not show any empathy or even care about customer's problems any more*
I am no longer here to provide customer service, I am here to stay within statistical limits, and i MUST KEEP TELLING MYSELF THAT.
