I'm going to have about an 8 hour layover in Los Angeles and then another 11 hours in Anchorage when I fly out to Cordova a week from Saturday. The ticket was so cheap, I can't really complain especially as last minute as it was.
I have friends to catch up with in Anchorage so I'm not worried about passing the time there. Los Angeles is going to be the fun place. Provided everything is on time, I'll get there a little after 3PM local time and won't leave until almost midnight. Does anyone who lives near the airport have any recommendations for stuff to do that won't cost an arm and leg and get me back in time to go through security again?
As an aside, do you know how hard it is to type when you have a dog demanding attention right now?
