I was picking up the usual truckload of books people remove from the shelves and just leave all over the place. I noticed a notebook on a display, but I left it alone, thinking the owner will pick it up. Thirty min. latter I still see it so I pick it up to take it to lost-and-found.

Being a curious person, I look at the first page, which had bank account information, like the number and which bank it was Wow, idiot to leave it behind.

Looking at another page, I see a personal ad. It seemed the person worked for the City, so I started to think it was one of the maintenance guys. Something about being a vet, then "I like to fuck 3 timse a day, 4 times a week...."

Wow, creepy, I really hope it isn't the maintenance guy. Then again, it could be one of our homeless regulars.

I would think it would be unlikely to be a homeless person if there is bank account info.

But whoever it was needs to be a little more careful....

There's a very messed up part of me that wonders if someone possibly left that behind on purpose and is watching from a distance to see who looks at it. It's probably unlikely in this case since there was bank account info, but the sex stuff...

I've seen a few "homeless" people depositing money in ATMs. It's been reported in local newspapers, too.

There's a very messed up part of me that wonders if someone possibly left that behind on purpose and is watching from a distance to see who looks at it.

I didn't think about reading it until I got in the elevator. I imagine there might be a few homeless people with bank accounts; there are certainly a few with iphones and apple laptops.
