I spoke with the manager this morning, and she told me to go ahead and do that next time. They are willfully rendering an item that we sell unsellable, they can pay for it.

Good. I hope you do it too.
I get dropping something and the store is nice enough to not make you pay for it but willfully destroying something? You should pay. Nasty people.
