    Wow that really is amazing. There are so so many possibilities with that.

          Reminds me of the tissue growth they show in the movie "Face Off" with Travolta and Cage, where they're growing a new ear for one of the special agents from his own tissue.

            There was a story on the radio last week about a printer that could print out 3D edible food...

              Not as close as you think. Sure it can "print" a burger, but you still need the food first. When we get to molecular modification and assembly, THEN we'll be close to the replicator.

              And of course the real catch: How does it taste?
