I once had a woman in my cube who seemed much more interested in her cell phone than the interview. After the third time I had to ask a question twice, I told her "We have 45 minutes to do this interview. 10 of them are already gone. Now, do you want to get your food stamps or do you just want a quiet place to text?"

She got offended and demanded a sup. Who pointed at the all of the "No cell phones" signs and told her that she would have to get another number because now there was only 7 minutes left in her interview time and I needed to move on to another customer.

Exactly. If I do happen to be on the phone when I'm ready to check out, I tell whomever I'm talking to that I'll call them back when I'm done.
