My SIL who is a psycologist explained to me There is OCD and OCP:
OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) is where it affects the persons ability to function normally day to day
OCP (Obsessive Compulsive Personality) is where it does not affect the persons ability to function normally day to day
NB* These are extreme generalisations and not to be taken as any sort of medical advice
I fall into the OCP catergory. Nice to know there is a name for what I do
