The phone bank is undoubtedly a telemarketing boiler room - the presence of which at a temporary-labor agency is highly suspect, to put it mildly. Personally, I'd have left instantly.

Don't know how helpful it is to people but our (UK) company uses Newton Blue and we've never had an issue with them. Oh, I haven't been back there since the non-interview; that was...4 years ago or so. The phone bank table was in one of the front windows, which was even more bizarre (I could see passersby outside glancing in with "WTF" looks)."I am quite confident that I do exist."
