This happened in my neck of the woods.
The deputy has been arrested, but the fired employee is still fired. He's got a lawyer but they haven't made a decision on what they're going to do.
This really steams me and I refuse to shop there right now...

Sounds like the LP guy, or whatever Target calls him, got fired for doing something he had always done, but was technically against policy. In which case he should've been corrected long ago instead of just fired when he happened to catch a cop shoplifting.Knowledge is power. Power corrupts. Study hard. Be evil.
