Hi everyone.
So we have Sean Lowe, from season 17 of the Bachelor, having a book signing in my hotel tonight. I talked to him during check-in and didn't tell me he was on TV (found that out on my own), and he's a totally chill, normal guy. It was great getting to meet him, even if I wasn't squealing quite as much as my younger and single coworkers (male and female I might add...I'm married and not as susceptible, plus pretty boys aren't really my type).
We also have another, ahem, gentleman (50+ and not ugly but certainly not all that and a bag of chips) who is somewhat taken with my cute Korean coworker. He made totally inappropriate comments to her while she was driving him around in our shuttle. She had to be practically pushed into the HR office to tell them what's up (in her own words, Asian women don't make a fuss about stuff like that), and I'm pretty sure if it happens again, Lecherous Larry (not real name) is going to be kicked out. Our FOM doesn't tolerate that kind of crap and he has no trouble telling an out-of-line guest off to their face. Big Bossman is a bit more diplomatic but he doesn't tolerate bullshit either.
So here's my question. How come a man who was LITERALLY being fought over by women on national TV was cool, down-to-earth, and respectful, while some other 50+ guy with greasy hair was making lecherous comments to my younger co-worker as if she should be swooning over him?
