My faith in humanity died a long time ago. For the most part, people are broken. Present company excluded of course.

Stories like this make me glad I don't own a gun. I would be more than a little tempted to put an end to these people's acts along with them, permanently.

The only good thing is that a 2-month-old is too young to remember it. Can't say the same about the older children, unfortunately.

There was a scene in The Punisher like that once. He broke into a house where the parents had been making porno movies of themselves and their three children. He took the parents into the basement and shot them, then went upstairs and told the (understandably terrified) children, "Some policemen will be here soon and they'll take care of you. Don't go in the basement."

As awful as having a man come into your house and kill your parents is...I always wondered if maybe it was the best thing for them.

Yeah, I traked down pics of them last night, just so I know who I'm going for.

As for weapons and such, I'll take a boning knife, with my training in an abattoir and as a butcher coupled with the training in anatomy and physiology, as well as first aid, I can keep them alive in pieces for a few days at least.

Failing that I know a couple of hundred ways to maim and kill with my bare hands.

If you insist on using a knife, I guess you could carry one of the torches, just don't lose it... they're not cheap.
