Going up to a worker in a bookstore or library and telling them "I'm looking for a book" is one of those "no duh" questions.
I do admit I sometimes let a little sarcasm out in calls at the IT service desk when I get a caller who will say, "I'm having a problem with my computer." My standard reply is something like, "Yes, that's usually why people call the IT service desk..."
