I mentioned in my latest Fratching thread that I was an avid Caesary player. (If it matters, I'm on S3 over on Aeria.) I've gotten into the habit of listening in on World chat there, mainly because some of the other players are... amusing.
Now, you can advance your Noble Rank (I guess you can call it your level) by collecting the required amount of Sesterces (money), Prestige (builiding/training experience) and Luxury items like Dyes, Spices, Silk and whatnot. Which leads me to a paraphrasing of something in World chat that made my eye twitch. Conversation paraphrased, because I didn't think to copy-and-paste the convo.
Me: For the... uh... Empire?
OP: Other Player. Not really sure how to classify him right now, but 'idiot' springs to mind.
GS: Game Sage. Volunteer staff, and some of them with a sense of humor.
OP: Woo! I just got my 20th incest!
Me: ...wait, what?!
OP: Incense, sorry.
GS: Freudian slip?
