Today marked the last day of my first ski resort job. The work itself was pretty easy and the majority of the customers were really nice. I liked my coworkers too but we ended up having problems when the GM started pulling high school shenanigans and tried to turn us against each other. That made me mad. I pride myself on being a good team player and working well with others.
The good news is we all realized what happened and got along again. It was rough going for awhile, though because the front of the house was mad at me for saying things I never said. At least it is over now but it soured me on going back next winter.
I am so glad I start the train job soon. I love my coworkers and managers there. I also know that no one will start any drama. Then again when you're working as much as we do, who has the energy to start anything?
