Hero: I didn't forget about you, but GK is fun to watch make people whimper, and Mytical and Jester would be a riot. Hell, we'd all be on night shift sweetie, so we'd have EVERYONE. :P

And Plaid sorry! Though I'm beginning to think I need to kidnap EQ here for a while..

Grave: I'll do whatever I have to. I'd like to meet ya one day. You crack me up.

      Yes update:
The wife came up to call a police officer to escort her to work, she was afraid he'd be following her. He showed up about 5 minutes before she was due to leave for work and met.. dun dun! Mommy Manager.

Now she's twice as pissed as usual because 1) We pride ourselves on keeping our guests safe and this guy is trying to cause us more issue than anyone else. 2) He threatened me. That pissed mom off even more.

I was refilling coffee and juice one more time, even though I was off the clock and it was mom's duty and the asshole walks in. He goes to go to the door and I said, "Sir, can I help you?"

"My wife's here, I want to talk to her before she goes to work."

me: "No sir. You won't. You need to leave, she's asked for no visitors and no calls."

      Him: "It's my wife."

Me: "Again, SIR, No. There's the door. I suggest you leave before the officer that was called just a few minutes ago, arrives."

He comes up to me and apparently hadn't seen Mom.. cause all he heard all of a sudden was, "Lay one hand on her or get in her face, and I will not only press charges, I'll throw you out myself. We don't take ANY threats lightly. Leave. And if you come back, I will have you arrested for trespassing, though I'm sure once the officers get wind of your wife's protection order, you'll definitely be in jail for at least the night, if not longer. Now get out."

      We have now:
Both car License plates (His cars), His description, and a copy of the order of protection that extends to OUR property, as long as the woman is here.

Wow, that's insane. I hope that jerk gets arrested before anything happens!

Anyone that's been in an abusive relationship knows that fear is such a huge part of life even after the abuser is gone. I'm really glad that the wife has you and Mommy Manager on her side!

*raises hand* May I kick his ass, too? I didn't have to get a restraining order against my abusive ex, but I think I was just damn lucky...This guy sounds like a total asshole. Put him in jail, put him in jail! [Or, you know...the hospital...I'm not particular. ]

I just want to say THANK YOU for being part of a group of people that takes orders of protection seriously. Its a particular kind of hell trying to get away from a man that's holding a loaded gun to your head in private, and following every move you make/crying for sympathy from onlookers in public.

It took a couple of Sgt.s tricking my late husband onto a desert detail, and my parents driving over 2000 miles to save my butt many years ago, after 3 years of begging for help whenever he wasn't looking and sneaking the phone away to call my parents when he was passed out. At least the police are taking this woman seriously, instead of rolling their eyes and walking away.

So many, many hugs to you and to the Hotel Mom for the danger you may be putting yourselves in while trying to keep this poor woman safe!

I told my husband about this, and his reply was "Where is this, I feel like smacking a bitch. That guy is such a pissy bitch for what he is doing. I'll teach him right."

So, should we host a big event for kicking this guy's ass? Can we have a big breakfast with donuts?

I can't imagine how scary it might be to hold your ground to threats. Prpps to SHW and mama SHW for standing their ground.

WG is right about that. Most of these hoodlums are all talk.
Most of the time, yes. Unfortunately, there are some that know how the laws work, and will do just enough to put fear into someone...

My (now) ex-girlfriend had to deal with that shit. Before we started dating, she was with a real winner. He would stalk her, harass anyone who even so much as talked to her, etc. Found out later that he'd hit her, and had made threats. Even so, the PFA she took out...wasn't worth the paper it was printed on.

Why, you ask? Well, if he'd tail her to school and she saw him, by the time the cops arrived, he'd be long gone. Whatever happened, was just her word against his. For example, we'd be at a restaurant, or just hanging out on campus with friends...and he'd show up. He wouldn't confront us--he'd hide in the bushes, or be up on a balcony somewhere. Anything he could do to mess with her. Got so bad, we had to drive to neighboring towns to be rid of him. That worked, because the bastard didn't own a car

He disappeared for a few months, only to show up at her nephew's birthday party...and her *mother* let the bastard in What the fuck? His sole reason for being there? Simply to mess with her. That shit didn't last long. As she and I were doing the dishes, I lost it. She was in tears, and I let it slip that if I found out that he'd hurt her...or if he *was* hurting her, I'd kill him. When I said those last 3 words, I took the knife I was holding...and stabbed it into the counter. Needless to say, the asshole didn't stick around long. I'm sure he shit his pants as he ran out of the house

Eventually, all of that got sorted out. I put her in touch with the judge...who happened to be a family friend. By then though, the asshole's past caught up with him. Seems he got a 13-year-old pregnant, and her parents pressed charges. Last I heard, the bastard was in jail.

Sorry, was on Vacation, just now reading this. I would do more then make his head explode with reason. He would NOT get even close to the woman UNLESS she specified otherwise. I do not put up with any man trying to abuse a woman, period. Not gonna happen on my watch. I am not even willing to call these things men or human, they don't deserve the title. Only one thing is worse, and that is somebody who hurts children. By that I don't mean discipline, I mean abuse.

As for being their, I'd love to . Unfortunately, bills to pay and all that.

Where's the end of the queue, I want to kick his ass as well!

Or would you like to borrow my ex? His youngest sister got into a relationship like that. We all knew something wasn't right, but she would never say anything (been frightened into silence, of course).

Then one day we were both out in town, and happened to come round the corner into a car park - and saw the two of them, he had pushed her onto the ground and was actually kicking her. He was so engrossed he never saw my ex come up behind him, whereupon my ex picked him up and threw him through the air, to land against a skip that was standing in a corner.
Engaged to the sweet Mytical He is my Black Dragon (and yes, a good one) strong, protective, the guardian. I am his Silver Dragon, always by his side, shining for him, cherishing him.

My dad was abusive. Not PHYSICALLY Abusive, but mentally. Which is as bad. So I've learned mind games to defend myself and those I care for. I Can trick damn near anyone. (Minus Minion, asshole..LOL)

And as for physical abuse, I had an ex who took a swing at me becuase I said no to sex. He swung and missed, and I'm proud to say, I didn't.
