Default The guy in the <red checkmark> commercials...

Is anybody else bugged by this guy?

This guy bugs me. He oftentimes comes off as some combination of smug, douche, and hipster.

I even saw someone say this vis-a-vis the commercials:

"Why does <red checkmark> think that commercials starring a douche and an idiot will make me want to use their service?"

Because the people making that commercial have never heard of this web site?

Nor have they had to actually deal with that customer directly.

Never seen these before. Youtube'd out of curiousity.

He is.....very punchable, isn't he?

I'm not sure "Christ, it's this asshole again" is a good marketing theme.

I question the effectiveness of "Let's run up to people and pester them" as a persuasive strategy as well.

It would be very effective at getting my foot up their ass though.

I haven't watched a commercial in a long time, so I looked up this guy. Yeah, he's annoying... And the questions are so condescending. How much would you pay for something you don't want? The kicker is at the end they say "free Apple music for six months." Yes. Well done. That is an example of a thing I do not want, not even for free. (because you have to remember to cancel after those six months are up)
