This happened yesterday during the 2nd session of summer school.
guy: "Meter parking is full."
me: "I 'm sorry, but I am only over the Visitor parking garage. The is city is over any meter parking lot. I know it is a pain, but it does happen."
guy: "But the meter lot is full."
me: "You have to contact the city. I have no control over meter parking."
guy: "So how much does it cost to park in Visitor parking?"
me: "$5.00"
guy: Visitor's have to pay $5.00?!!!"
me: "yes"
guy: "Students have to pay $5.00?!!!"
me: "yes"
guy: Will I get reimbursed if I get a student parking pass?"
me: "You have to ask the Parking office about that."
guy: "oh..ok"
I raise the gate for him to enter. No long after he entered the garage he pulls up to the exit gate, presses the call box, & tells me Visitor parking is full. I let him out.
