  • Atomic Robo is now online for free

    http://atomic-robo.com/index.php

Yada yada -- They're publishing their entire back catalog (ten volumes at this point) online in webcomic form, for free access (plus a Patreon), and they'll be throwing in commentaries, concept drawings, and the like as they go. Current plan is 3 issues (66pages) per week until they get caught up, which should take until May or so. Future stuff will go there afterwards, as well.

    Enjoy.

Awesome! I've seen a few excerpts here and there online, but I don't have a local comic shop. Bookmarked!
      Cheap, fast, good. Pick two.
They want us to read minds, I want read/write.

For the unfamiliar, a very basic description would be "Indiana Jones as an immortal robot, but smarter" -- that doesn't do it justice, but it gives you an idea of the overall style. Sci-fi rip-roaring adventure, and each "book" (story arc, corresponds to a trade paperback) is set in a different time period; intentionally not in chronological order.

Lots of goofiness, occasional actual science, and, of course, this telling image. Just read it. Go go go go go !

I feel this one is more accurate. But then again we could be putting up the entire first comic just to debate this.
