Our offices are moving at the end of October. I'm looking forward to it. It's a great area near a very upscale shopping area called The Biltmore. HUGE space and for less money than what we've been paying, thanks to the economy. Great shops, etc.
John McCain's condo is accross the street but no place is perfect. hehehe
But in the process of cleaning out the office, many of our depts. are getting rid of stuff that's been accumulated over the last 10 years or so and guess who has been taking it home.
And this is mostly really nice stuff sent to us by companies that want to seel stuff with our logo on it and then donate a part of the sales to us.
So far I've got tons of nice pens, magnet clips, 2 wall clocks that play x-mas music on the hour, some great button down shits and t-shirts, great tote bags, music boxes and jewellery boxes and lots more. Most is getting shipped to my sisters because they love this kind of stuf and so do their friends and co-workers.
The only bad thing about the move, I was excited to finally have a Starbucks close to work because I love their iced tea. I went into the Starbucks on the day we took the tour of the new place and asked what time they open. The barrista told me "Well, we openned at 5:30am today but this is our last day. We are closing"!!! WTF!!!
But at least the workers have all been given jobs at other stores.
