In high school down here, when kids reach year 10, they have the option of taking care of those baby dolls that cry at random times so you can experience the result of what happens without contraception. While the babies are a bit more sophisticated now, back then if they started crying, you'd shove a plastic key in its back and when it was satisfied, it would coo.
We took the dolls on a field trip to different schools to tell kids in primary school about our open day and to COME TO OUR SCHOOL . Because of their nature, they would go off at random times. During our little shows, there would be moments of absolute dead silence and then one of the babies would randomly coo. Cue students in Grades Six and Seven giggling madly. (The shows were MEANT to be for the Grade 7's only, but most schools would also let the Grade Six students come along. Hands down though, we had one of the best "ads". Most schools would either send along a teacher or two or send along one or two students with a teacher. We took along the entire music class, some of the dance class, some of the parenting class and a couple of random students to show off science experiments )
