  • Slater Pleads Guilty

    consumerist.com/2010/10/steven-slater-pleads-guilty.html

Steven Slater, the JetBlue flight attendant who pulled a hissy fit and left his job via the aircraft's emergency slide several months ago, plead guilty to two misdamenors, one of which is a felony.

As one replier said, "He may be smiling now, but his career options are pretty limited with that felony on his record. Forget working in the travel industry and a lot of other places. Most real employers won't hire you if you have a felony conviction, and that's what he's got now thanks to his guilty plea."

Erm... something is either a misdemeanor or a felony. Not both.

I must confess, I though Mario Lopez got himself into some kind of legal trouble there.

Or that maybe Christian Slater was back to his old shenanigans.
