    I work in a call center for a bank, in the small business department. This week, though, myself and four others on my team are in training to start taking merchant services calls. We've been introduced, so far, to 4 different types of terminals, including Clover, the different types of credit card pricing, like Cost Plus, tiered, and recover reduced. We have had to learn 5 new systems, one of which is a DOS based program, just like the other one I'm already sort of familiar with.

    So now they're going to have us take these merchant calls along with small business, and our queue is usually 15 minutes or more, and these merchants are used to having their calls answered in less than a minute. This is going to be fun!

    For some very warped definition of fun, maybe.... I will feel your pain vicariously!
