    Amy's is finally closing, long after I and others thought it would.

    And why? Not because of bad publicity, they claim, it's "issues with the landlord".

    Yeah, right...

    I was wondering if Betty's real name might be Amy, but the location is wrong.

      I wonder who the landlord is? Did they not pay him and claim it was all his fault?


      I thought she was Betty too, but...yeah...we can't have it all.

        Amy Bouzaglo told the AP that she will be "making desserts for a Phoenix-area restaurant group" and will also tape a series of online instructional videos on cooking and baking.
        ...She knows how to cook? She does know that screaming at people doing the actual cooking doesn't count, right? ...Right?

        edit: From the sidebar links on that article -- KFC is making a DoubleDown-style pizza with a slab of fried chicken as the crust. This scares me, but the same morbid fascination that got me to try the DD (once) is making me think "Hey, this may not be so bad..."

            I'm surprised that it took so long. Only the really desperate would have worked for her after she showed her true colors on tv.

              IIRC, she's in CA and Ghel's "Betty" fiasco is in MN.

                Actually, Amy's Baking Company was at 7366 East Shea Boulevard #112, Scottsdale, AZ 85260.

                Too bad they weren't in New Mexico. I could have said, "Amy is in NM, and 'Betty' is in MN."
