Hellbent: Hi. I have a problem with my computer that was caused by my daughter. I want your help immediately.
Other than being a little demanding, he didn't seem very sucky to me. His daughter is amused by silly things and he wants help fixing it. Maybe he has a more sucky history with you guys?

The one and only time you can have a giant dick on your work computer and not get fired.
Well, a giant dick USES my work computer

...or maybe that's guy with a giant dick. I always mistake those two

Who needs internet at the actual computer to do this? She has the image, she saves it on a flash drive and then uploads it to the computer.
That is assuming that the school's IT department hasn't disabled/disconneced the USB ports. We supply computers to education and some of them specify that they want us to build the machines but disconnect the USB

Yeah in hindsight this isn't the most sucky he has been. He is normally absolutely horrible to deal with.

Many years ago, at my 2nd job as a Unix SysAdmin, I worked for a company that made their initial money on porn. They were transitioning into more mainstream work, and hiring me (old lady in her 30s) was one of their moves that way (instead of hiring teens and early 20s).
So basically, I worked for a year actually *looking* at websites that most people get fired for looking at. Boy did I get over it fast.

This reminds me quite greatly of Pippin Galadriel Moonchild from Good Omens.

I imagine this daughter will handle having a weird name about the same way "Pepper" did.

A guy I know works for an IP law firm. He spends most of his day watching porn and listening to stuff on iTunes to see if it contains copyright material

              .
That's very odd since over here in Ausland, most computers used in schools still have at least one USB port in the front so that students can still access the damn thing for printing or other purposes.

Since a number of schools are now switching over to BYOD models (bring your own device), it wouldn't surprise me if ones that are bought directly through a specific manufacturer do have certain settings disabled to prevent things like the above from happening though.

(To clarify, there's about 3-4 different "models" out of bring-your-own-device out there: the one where the school has a link with a particular seller/manufacturer and will require all students to purchase said device, the one where the school will tell students to purchase specific devices but not specify where exactly, the one where the school will allow students to bring in any device provided it meets specific requirements and a variant of #1 where the school will "rent" the laptop out to the student with the agreement that at the end of a certain time period (usually 3-5 years), the student owns it. If the student leaves before the end of said time period, the family either pays upfront or the laptop gets returned)

That makes me think of some episodes of Border Security (Australia) where it came out that one of the customs officers has had extra training by our classification board for the sole reason that part of his jobs entails him watching various DVDs or other videos to ensure that they're legal to enter Australia. (Which boils down to a small handful of banned films, plus certain categories of porn)
