Just a word of warning: I don't know if this is common on some of these social sites or not, but I was sent a friend request from some unknown name that looked quite spammish. It was basically advertising some kind of merchandise online. Needless to say, I denied that one.

So be careful when you check any requests . . . might be a good idea to check out the member first. Anyone from CS should be good to go, but if you don't know the name or they don't ring any kind of bell, be careful.

Yeah, I was getting a lot of those myself, until I changed my settings so that you have to enter a code imbedding in an image if you're not on my friends list. I think I may have gotten one spam since I did that, and that was months ago.
