This is the kind of thing you think you get away from in an office job.
Basically, I keep running out of work to do at the Accounting office where I work. It's a recent development. When I started work, it was mostly training me, then catching up on things that needed doing, and THEN quarter/year end tax stuff. Te year and quarter end things are done, and all the bookkeeping is so caught up, I can do whatever comes in as soon as we get it.
Problem is none of the owners are bringing us there January stuff.
Which means I've had to leave an hour or so early a few times, 2 hours early today, and not even going to work on Monday, just cause there's nothing for me to do!
If it doesn't pick up by the end of March, I'll start looking for a new job. It should, since it's tax season, but if it slows down this much after April, I'll start looking for sure. I need steadier work.
