Food opinions

So, I was planning to make chicken caesar salad for dinner tonight, but it turns out that I only have one - very small - chicken breast, and I need to feed two people.

I really don't wanna take a trip to the store just for some chicken, and I don't feel like doing a big shop right now. My other protein is sweet italian sausage. I can't quite marry the tastes in my head, so I turn to the good people of CS for opinions

I voted that it could work. I don't think it would if it were heavy on the dressing, though. I could be horribly wrong, but it's something I would try.

Although, don't shoot me, I love combining unlikely ingredients.... have ended up with some very tasty meals

I went for it- then I discovered I was also out of caesar dressing.

Turns out Italian Sausage ranch salad is pretty damn tasty, though.

I refrained from commenting when I first saw this thread because I'm sick and nothing sounds appetizing to me right now, and the very thought of Italian sausage and salad made my stomach turn a bit. Glad it turned out for you, though!

Sounds like something everyone would like except me. I don't like sweet sausage. But everyone else does, so probably it would work out fine.
