  • Failure to Listen...

Husband: "I think I am interested in extreme arrogance, as long as it covers up extreme self-doubt."

    Me: "Yeah, Batman's really complex."

Husband: "...I was talking about Kanye West."

    Me: "Oh. Okay."

    Listening FAIL.

Anyone else ever fail at listening or is it just me?

    That's me in a nutshell

Then again, I have a convient and very plausable excuse: I'm deaf in one ear, so I can't really hear certain things.
Eh, one day I'll have something useful here. Until then, have a cookie or two.

I tend to do that. Of course, some people think I do it more than I really do...when they're really not being clear in the first place. It's enough to put self doubt in my head, though.

On the other hand my husband just tunes me out altogether sometimes...and then 5 minutes later he'll say "What?" Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez...
"I was only LOOKING, I didn't mean to enter my card's CVV and actually ORDER! REFUND ME RIGHT NOW!!"
