Bet the next order comes via carrier pigeon, carved on a rock, just to spite you for complaining about the last one.....

The guy owns the adult shop, it's rather small. The daughter is official co-owner,
I thought The Kendalls ('70s Country duo - most of their songs were from the viewpoint of a couple, even though they were father and daughter) were a bit "squicky", but for a father and daughter to be running an adult store?

I agree, Wolfie. That is seriously creepy, IMO.

I guess that's a cultural difference, or perhaps it's just normal for me. An adult store is just a store, it sells sex toys (not sex), condoms and perhaps magazines and videos.

Keep in mind that Hugh Hefner's daughter Christie took over running Playboy Enterprises.

Eh, running an adult store together as a family wouldn't skeeve me out, but sending a family member to purchase something for my personal use would. I didn't realize he was a retailer.

It could be that daddy-dearest likes working, but is too much of a stubborn old bastard to hand over some of the duties to his daughter.

Same deal over here (Aussie). The only difference is that sex stores are obviously done in such a way that you can't see what they're selling off the main street. I'm assuming this is because of the nature of the shop. Some do have a enterance at the back, but that's becoming a rare practice nowadays.
The one closest to me is more of a magazine/video shop than a sex toy shop, whereas there's a chain of stores across Australia that deal more with toys, but provide some other "entertainment." (not strippers mind you, more like mini porno theatres) Although I walked into the magazine/video shop the other day with my partner and got a little creeped out by the 50-something year old guy behind the counter

The days of typed or handwritten mails from that store are over. Daughter took over and requested an account for our online ordering system! The reason on the other hand is rather sad, her father suffered a bad stroke, perhaps even his bad handwritting was an early warning sign.
