    My Mom's dog is really sick.

    My mom's 17 year old dog Ginger Snap is doing really bad. Last night she had a massive seizure. They (being my mom, dad, and brother) are preparing for her passing. She's mostly blind and deaf already. I'm really sad cause I grew up with this dog for about 14 years. I moved away last February and haven't seen her since.

    Included is a picture from my mom's Facebook of Ginger.

      I'm so sorry Ginger Snap isn't doing well. It's so hard when a pet gets ill; our 1 year old cat has been a little under the weather the last few days, nothing serious, but it still makes me worry even though I'm sure he'll be fine. Hugs to you and your family.

          Ginger Snap passed away at 9 this morning. May she rest in peace.

            She was old, 17 years is *very* old to any dog. At least she is no longer suffering.

              Oh I know. The biggest sadness for me is that I wasn't there. I'll miss her.

                        Much thanks. I'm doing a lot better then expected. I mourned her death the night before she died. I'm sad but I'll be ok... Eventually.
