Need a traffic light put in so pedestrians can cross more safely? Someone's gotta be critically hit with a car first.

Something like this happened a couple of years ago when I was still working for Random Craft Store but it was more like we needed another traffic light on top of the one that was at the end of the street. Everyone in my area knew that this road needed a new light because of all the accidents that had happened on it, I was involved in one there myself a number of years ago, but nothing got done about it despite the amount of traffic it got [and still gets] and the accidents. Why? Because the city wouldn't act unless someone got killed there.

Which was precisely what happened -- it literally took someone getting killed to get a light in front of Random Craft Store.
